Music Department

The choir and band begins early at GCS. Kindergarten through 3rd grade can learn piano keyboarding to help develop their science and math skills. Instrumental is taught from 4th through 8th grade.

Choir

We have elementary, middle school and high school choirs that perform for school programs, Christmas programs around the community, state and local competitions, and at the Florida State Fair each year. Each age group performs in dramatic and musical productions.

Band

We have beginning band, Middle School Band and Varsity Band. The Varsity Band performs at soccer and basket ball games with its Pep Band; and at drama productions like "Sound of Music" and "Oklahoma", they become an orchestra and do a tremendous job.
